Over 1.77 million minutes of physical activity were logged over a 15 day period by 18 communities in the province.
It was the Saskatchewan Blue Cross "Get Our Community Moving Challenge", with Dalmeny recording the most physical activity towards their community project at over 385-thousand minutes.
That nets them 10-thousand dollars to revitalize the prairie park into a safe, accessible playground which will include a spray park, soccer field and basketball courts.
Three other communities logged over 100-thousand minutes in the challenge: Quill Lake, Fillmore, and Arcola.

It was a beautiful, albeit windy, day for the Dalmeny Spray and Play's First Annual (?) Fall Family Festival. Attendance numbers were upwards of 650, and we were able to raise over $5,000 for the Spray and Play! Thanks to all the families who came out and played and supported another one of our fundraising events.

Thank you to everyone who helped out with the Children's Carnival. It was a great day and a tonne of fun. Combined with the Church in the Park, we raised $4940!!! This community continues to amaze me...
Check out our new sign at the entrance to Dalmeny. It is a result of all your hard working in motion minutes in February!
